Located only 24 miles from Destin is this lovely and peaceful park. The home itself rests on 161 acres of land park and is delightfully revamped, two-story Wesley house with its rich white sections and wrap-around yard. It’s absolutely gorgeous and looks even more amazing in person. The greenery hung live oaks and decorative enclosures are breathtaking and the historic feel is so unique. You will love visiting this beautiful Park.

Named after an affluent Florida timber family, the recreation center is a piece of the family’s bequest. In 1963, Lois Maxon purchased and redesigned the home, making a showplace for her family legacies and obsolescent items. The home holds the second biggest known gathering of Louis XVI furniture in the United States. Guests can likewise take a walk around the grounds and appreciate the cookout and picnic areas. Such a great day trip for the family!
