There’s a little something for everyone.  Destin Commons is a great place for walking, browsing, and grabbing a bite to eat.  There are several popular restaurants and cinema!

Outlet Malls – Silver Sands is the place to go if you enjoy outlet malls.  Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, DKNY and more.  This popular spot stays busy.  If you love to shop you will enjoy Silver Sands!

Grocery – Have a taste for something special, fresh seafood, gourmet foods or just need groceries?  Whatever the case, there is plenty to offer.  Publix is a favorite for fresh produce and seafood, specialty foods and great prices.  Winn Dixie is also a popular spot for groceries.

For fresh fish and seafood be sure to try Destin Ice Seafood Market or Sexton’s Seafood Market.  Both are conveniently located on Harbor Blvd. and you are sure to find whatever it is you are looking for in fresh fish and seafood.

Thrift shops – Who doesn’t love a bargain?  We have several area thrift shops.  Thrift shops have a lot to offer.  Often folks find gently used toys for the beach at a steal.  Be sure to check out our Goodwill, Plato’s Closet and several area consignment shops for that bargain you just can’t live without.

Library – You may be surprised to see this on the list but the local Library has a lot to offer.  There’s a fun film festival going on the next couple of months with great movies for free being shown here.  Be sure to check it out!  You can also find great books, videos, dvd’s, etc., here.
