This year the Irish holiday falls on Tuesday

But there’s plenty going on in Destin if you wish to celebrate a little early!

The HarborWalk Village in Destin will host the Grogg March Irish Street Festival which will feature Irish music and dancing, the traditional Irish food and beverages, and lots of fun arts and crafts for the little people. There is also a pub crawl and the tickets are $10.

Here’s the lineup for the Grogg:

• 5-6PM: Fishheads Pre-Party Kick-off!
• 6-7PM: Margaritaville, Destin /Fish Tales
• 7-8PM: Jackacudas Seafood & Sushi
• 8-9PM: La Famiglia On the Harbor/ Jester Mardi Gras Daiquiris – HarborWalk
• 9-10PM: Crab Island Cantina
• 10-11PM: Harry T’s Lighthouse
• 11-UNTIL: Coyote Ugly Saloon- Destin

The communities of 30-A will host the Annual 30-A St. Patrick’s Day Parade tomorrow, March 14th. Line up begins at 1:30 while the parade kicks off at 2 p.m.

So, if the mood hits you get to get out and enjoy some Green Beer and dance an Irish jig be sure to check out McGuire’s Irish pub as well!!

Of course, if you don’t want to do any of these events you can always hang around the pool or the beach here at The Sea Oats Motel and make your own entertainment!  You can always listen to a little beautiful Celtic music by the shore and watch the sun go down.

There are more complicated ways to make it but you can simply take light beer such as Bud Light and add a splash of green food coloring for your own festive Irish twisted treat!
