The Emerald Coast is a very popular tourist area and with good reason.

Not only do we have the most beautiful beaches in the world here we have so many wonderful events as well.

If you are visiting us at The Sea Oats Motel in Destin you probably have already found this to be true! We are conveniently located to the beautiful beaches and all kinds of fun activities.

Every now and then the weather turns rainy or cool, not often, but when it does there are still plenty of fun things to do here. If you’ve never been you should check out the Destin History and Fishing Museum.

Destin was once a fishing village before becoming the huge tourist area it is now.

On a sunny day when you want a little different adventure try Henderson State Park. A great place to take the family on a picnic or go bicycling on the paths where you can experience the beauty of nature here in Destin.

After a few hours of fun in the sun you will want to return back to The Sea Oats Motel and cool off in the pool or lounge at the beach for awhile.
