Put some “jazz” in your jingle bells this holiday season!

Smooth jazz returns to the Emerald Coast with  this unique blend of contemporary and holiday music on Saturday when Internationally-renowned guitarist Peter White  plays at 7:30 pm, Dec. 13th at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center at Northwest Florida State College mainstage theater.

This annual holiday concert has become a tradition on the Gulf Coast and across the country.

A Peter White Christmas features singer/saxophonist Mindi Abair and trumpeter Rick Braun playing Christmas favorites along with many of their own hits.

White is an world-renowned acoustic guitarist whose guitar style can be enjoyed through an ever-growing and best-selling catalog – including his latest release “Here We Go ” (2012).  Mindi Abair is a double talent with fluid saxophone and emotive vocals. Rick Braun is a masterful trumpet/flugelhorn player whose warm tones transform melody into art.

Each have separately sold millions of records and fans will surely appreciate this special performance of Christmas tunes from all three stars!

Contemporary jazz lovers eagerly await the annual holiday concert which plays to packed venues coast-to-coast . And this year, they have a special added treat as the trio have just completed recording their CD, “Peter White Christmas with Mindi Abair & Rick Braun, “filled with selections from the popular  Christmas tour.

With a career that spans four decades and more than a dozen solo recordings, White insists that it’s the fans that keep the experience fresh.
