Christmas Tree Lighting

Sunday November 23rd at 4:00 PM

This event is an annual event for the town of Ft. Walton Beach. It’s a staple for tourists and locals alike. It’s going to be held at the Ft. Walton Beach landing. The landing is used for all types of events and ceremonies. The landing is located directly on the water. The views will be gorgeous.

The event will kick off when Santa arrives on a fire truck. The kids will love this, so much sure you bring your cameras to capture the moments. The gazebo at the landing is where you can meet and greet with Santa later on in the evening.

There will also be a story reading of “The Elf on the Shelf” by Michael Taz. He is one a local favorite actor. There will also be Christmas Carols around the tree during the lighting ceremony. Make sure you bring blankets with you because there will be a movie screening around 6:00 pm. The movie that’s going to be shown is “The Polar Express”. Concessions and warm hot chocolate will be served during the evening. This event will be enjoyable for the entire family. What a great way to start the holiday season.
