Throw the blanket down, pitch an umbrella if you have one, or rent one of our beach umbrella chairs nearby your blanket so you can have a break from the hot sun.

What’s on your menu for today’s beach picnic?

Be sure to pack plenty of cold drinks for everyone, no glass. Juice boxes, soft drinks, bottled water, sparkling drinks. You can pack lemon slices for a little extra flair in your drinks.

One of the simplest picnics is delicious fried chicken, you can buy this ahead of time and refrigerate, it tastes as good cold. Throw a little hot sauce in your picnic basket along with a nice potato salad and some fresh fruit. Voila’ you have a beach picnic.

Bring along a garbage bag to dispose of your plastic and paper trash. The beach is too beautiful for trash. Please don’t litter!

After your picnic you might want to engage in a beach volleyball game with the family. You may just want to splash in the Gulf waters and enjoy the waves.
