Everyday we see people making memories on the beach.

One idea that makes for great idea for the scrapbook is to take beach photos and have everyone in the family dress alike in white shirts and blue jeans. The combination of the white shirt and blue jeans stands out against the background of the white sandy beach and emerald green waters. Such a simple, yet great way to capture a special moment together as a family.

You can also add special touches to make the photo stand out. Try drawing a heart shape with the date on it in the sand. This will serve as a reminder of when the picture was taken as well as make a conversation piece.

Another fun idea, especially if you have someone to take the photograph for you (this doesn’t have to be a professional by the way) is to have everyone hold hands and jump up together.

Try different angles, different focal points.  Even black and white beach photographs are awesome. There are so many ways to create and capture these special moments.

Sunsets and sunrises are very popular photo ops so make sure to capture these whenever you can.

Catch your children doing something fun and snap a picture.  Line up their flip flops and sand buckets and snap another.

Once you get started and see the magic that may be preserved, you may well end up spending all day taking pictures. Your family friends may be annoyed at first, but this is supposed to be fun for everyone. You’re entitled to fun as well! If you brought them here, well, they can grin and bare it for a little bit!
