35th Annual Jingle Bell Jog

Destin and surrounding areas support our active duty soldiers and veterans.

If you didn’t know, there are a few military bases here, including Eglin, Hurlburt and 7th Special Forces. Destin is home to an abundance of Military Personnel. Aren’t they lucky to be stationed in such a gorgeous place? We think so!

7th Special Forces Group is an Army base located in Crestview. The Special Forces Association is hosting the 35th annual Jingle Bell Jog! Their mission is to promote and protect their strong traditions. They serve as the voice for their strong and brave soldiers. Sea Oats and the city of Destin proudly supports our Military men and women.

What better way to show your American spirit and pride by joining our Army soldiers in their 35th annual Jingle Bell Jog. It won’t only be a fun time but also for an amazing cause.

The Jingle Bell Jog is an annual 10K race & 5K run 5K walk sponsored by Special Forces Association “The Green Berets” Chapter VII which are stationed and located right here in the Emerald Coast.

All of the money raised at the event will go directly to SFA (Special Forces Association) Ch. 7, a Veterans non-benefit all volunteer association that gives backing to groups of seventh Special Forces Group (Airborne), with attention on giving backing to the groups of fallen warriors who made a definitive tribute.

The occasion recognizes the parts and groups of our country’s Quiet Professionals.

The occasion will be on Saturday December 13, 2013 in Fort Walton Beach, FL starting and completion at Uptown Station. There will be prizes, outfit challenges, wagers, music, lots of food and fun after the race! You will not want to miss this.

The Jingle Bell Jog route will start at Uptown Station Fort Walton Beach, Florida; travels South down Eglin Parkway (Highway 85) turning left, East onto Perry Ave SE (Highway 145) continuing along Perry Ave SE to Miracle Strip Parkway SE (Highway 98) turning left, East onto Miracle Strip Parkway SE, across Brooks Bridge to the intersection of Santa Rosa Boulevard and Miracle Strip Parkway (Highway 98).
